Our Program

When some people think of the word dependency or addiction, they may think it can’t happen to them, but it can. All too often, a person recovering from surgery or coping with a pain management issue may grow tolerant of opiate-derived medications.

Our Opiate Treatment Program uses chemical and behavioral treatments that are referred to as Medication Assisted Treatment. We look at all related issues to ensure a successful treatment plan and can treat people with dual diagnoses. Our goal is to help them build the skills to recover and be strengthened by living a healthier lifestyle.

The fundamental goals of the Opiate Treatment Program are:

  • Discontinuance of all mood-altering drugs except therapeutic methadone
  • Development of a positive lifestyle
  • Development of a support system
  • Successful detoxification from methadone when appropriate
  • Continued abstinence from mood-altering drugs
Opiate Treatment Program Goals
  • Stop using all mood-altering drugs except therapeutic methadone
  • Foster a positive lifestyle
  • Establish a support system
  • Successfully detox from methadone when appropriate
  • Maintain avoidance of mood-altering drugs
