Lakeview Center Welcomes Adoption Recruiter Specialist

Pensacola, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2018) – FamiliesFirst Network (FFN) of Lakeview Center is pleased to welcome Shannon Springs to a new role within the organization as an adoption recruiter specialist.

In her new role, Springs will recruit potential adoptive parents and then work with them throughout the orientation process and preparation for adoption. Recruitment efforts will occur in the four-county area to include: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Walton and Okaloosa.

Springs joined FFN in 2009. She has worked as a recruiter for therapeutic foster parents and also assisted with licensing and re-licensing of foster homes. She also has worked to train and asses for safe living environments in the foster home community.

Springs holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida A&M University; and is working towards a Master of Science degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University, Texas. Springs also holds the following certifications: Professional Child Welfare Certification; Certified Quality Parenting Training Instructor; Certified CPR/First Aid Instructor.
