Lakeview Avenue When: Wednesday, Oct. 25, Doors open: 3 p.m., Movie starts: 3:30 to 5 p.m. How: Register at https://resiliencethemovie.eventbrite.com The Trauma-Informed Care movement shows great promise in healing youth who struggle with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES). Working together we can turn the tide against the cycle of trauma and abuse for youth. The film "Resilience" shows how at-risk youth can benefit from a Trauma-Informed Care community comprised of doctors, researchers, teachers, nurses, social workers and law enforcement officers. The film was first shown last May in Pensacola as the sequel to "Paper Tigers," which featured Lincoln Alternative High School in Walla Walla, Washington. The school serves as a model for deploying a Trauma-Informed Care framework with good outcomes.
