The Bariatric Center of Excellence at Baptist Hospital conducts a “Meet the Doc” program to provide information on morbid obesity, non-surgical treatment options, bariatric services and weight-loss surgeries such as gastric bypass and lap-band. The Baptist Hospital Bariatric Center is the area's first and most comprehensive surgical weight loss program. The center offers the expertise of Dr. Jeffrey Friedman who is backed by a full complement of medical specialists skilled in the care of bariatric patients.
